In this edition: my newest cutting board.
I love it not only because it’s beautiful and functional, but because my dear best friend Erin MADE IT. She made this. Did I mention that she’s only taken woodworking classes since September? She made a few of these for lucky recipients, and I treasure it. I especially love the purple heart wood.
It’s also so functional; these non-slip grips are awesome. Why don’t all cutting boards have these?
Anyway, just had to brag and share. I was cutting up a gorgeous red kuri squash today and the whole visual experience was pretty great.
(Squash was yummy, too. Made this for lunch with a different miso dressing. It was really good)
